Monday 27 November to Saturday 2 December, 2006 28 Cork Street, Mayfair, London W1S 3NG. The exhibition had been designed to coincide with the launch of a major new salon on the web that will focus on contemporary Russian art. The exhibition previewed some of the glorious new works of art that are currently available on the Salon Russe website. The exhibition appealed to both established collectors and those just starting out on the path of purchasing quality paintings. Salon Russe collections include beautifully executed paintings with a contemporary twist on the classic styles of past, as well as the work of artists that are striving to craft striking new images and ways of seeing our world. |
